If your requested stats are unrealistic it won't magically figure it out for you. I generally let it fill up the blue bar anywhere between 20% (checking if my stats are realistic) and 2 complete blue bar fills (when I'm really trying to nail down the stats when I'm in the ballpark), then interrupt to see how it's doing, then tweak things as necessary. You can interrupt the consultation at any time. Click "Equip" to add a single item to the current template, "Equip All" to equip everything in the chat log, and "Add All" to add everything in the Change location for each item if you need toġ1. The more items delved, the longer it will takeġ0. Find "Electronic Arts" -> "Dark Age of Camelot" -> "chat.txt"ĩ. Go into LOKI and click "File" -> "Import/Export" -> "Import Chat Log"Ĩ. Turn off chat logging (Either by hotkey you assign in /keyboard, or by typing "/chatlog" again)Ħ. Repeat 2 & 3 until you have all the items you wantĥ. When the item information screen pops up, you're done: Ĥ. Log into DAoC and enable chatlogging (Either by hotkey you assign in /keyboard, or by typing "/chatlog")ģ. This is right clicking an item and clicking "info".ġ. **Please note this is NOT delving to a chat channel. Band = Ring, Necklace = Necklace, Jerkin = Chest) although auto-classifying isn't perfect and should be double checked. You can mass import hundreds of items at the same time, and it will even attempt to classify each item based on it's name (ex.
LOKI can add items without you having to manually input every stat.
#HOW TO USE LOKI DAOC FULL#
Click the weird icon to the right of the binoculars (Control+B) to see a full template build report that you can copy+paste to share the template.Ĭhatlogging Items Using DAoC's Built-In Chatlog Function I can't really explain this part too well, itĨ. Just generally give it a better chance to get what you want, or give it better items to work with. _No: Add more items, find items that suit the template better, or bring your stats to a more realistic level. _Yes: Run consult for another round a bit longer, see if it does better. I generally give it longer if it got pretty close and I just want to let it figure out the final build. I generally interrupt halfway up the first bar if I'm just checking if it can even get close. After a while, either interrupt (if you're just checking if it can even get close to the desired stats) or let it finish. At level 10 you're telling it "Get these goddamn stats and try your hardest to get them"ĥ. At level 1, you're effectively saying try and get these stats, but if you can't it's ok, don't try too hard. This makes consultations take longer, however sometimes it can be worth it. I generally start at ~6 on both, then when I get closer to the stats I want I pump it up. "Oracle Effort" and "Minimum Value" are worth changing.
Double up on rings to compensate like this: If you don't care about ring or bracer placement, you can keep this on however remember to add 2 rings/bracers of the same type if you don't mind LOKI using two of the same items. This will make LOKI not mix and match rings, regardless of "right ring" or "left ring" and wrists too. Want Zo for a caster? Add it to the "Right Wrist" slot and turn off "Share Ring". Here's an example of a "Cleric Skeleton" I have saved: Ĥ. You can add as many crafted pieces as you want, it will mix and match. Add crafted armor bonuses under "Specialty Bonus" on crafted armor (check the screenshot). Use the item database (binoculars at the top of the screen), search housing, import _everything you can from chat logs. This will give you a place to choose stats for both S/S and 2 hand, as well as give you a report that includes both: ģ. If you're making, say, a hero you may want to tell LOKI the stats you want for both 1 hand and 2 hand. Have an idea of what stats you want, tell LOKI those stats:
